Colt Custom 1911. Fully engraved model in .38 Super. Pistol is embellished on nearly every surface with gold filigree in Baroque organic forms, enhanced with small scale-like scalloping between swirls. Hammer, slide release, bushing, trigger, safety, barrel, grip safety, magazine release, and back strap are all gold plated. Magazine floorplate is highly polished to a mirror shine. Attractive grips are fitted, a high polish "black-pearl" with deep, dark swirls and bright highlights. Grips are fitted with gold medallions and gold screws. Should one ever wish to shoot this pistol, all mechanical functions are excellent, as should be expected for a Colt Custom product. This is an astonishingly attractive pistol that would make for a "barbeque gun" par excellence, there is simply no better way to demoralize your neighbors showing off their so-called fancy pistols than by bringing a gold-plated engraved Colt. Comes in a large Colt branded blue cardboard box with padding, manual, and gun lock.
